Daniel Osuntoyinbo is a Database Reliability Engineer with experience designing, building, and operating resilient database platforms at scale to serve enterprise and mission-critical workloads.

Throughout his career, he has worked on a range of open-source database technologies, including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB, with production experience spanning database operations, automation, migration, and platform engineering.

Daniel has previously worked as a senior database engineer at multinational financial institutions, including Barclays, where he was a MongoDB Build SME, and is currently working at Wise as a Database Reliability Engineer.

He likes sharing practical knowledge gained from real-world production environments so that engineers can build simpler, more resilient database platforms.
