Build Real-Time Discovery and Recommendations with Valkey Search

May 27-29, 2026 • Computer History Museum, CaliforniaDate, time, and room will be announced soon.
This workshop walks through how to model data, design indexes, and write low-latency queries with Valkey Search to build discovery and recommendation systems on operational data. Using a movie streaming application as an example, we will index movie metadata, implement instant search and title suggestions, add recommendation flows such as “Because you watched…,” and use aggregations to power experiences such as trending content. Along the way, attendees will learn practical techniques for cluster topology, schema design, indexing strategy, query construction, and tuning for latency and relevance. You will leave with an end-to-end example and reusable patterns for building discovery and recommendation workloads with Valkey Search.
