May 27-29, 2026 • Computer History Museum, CaliforniaDate, time, and room will be announced soon.
Advisors in Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM) are designed to turn metrics into actionable insights—but what should a truly useful advisor system look like in real-world environments?
In this interactive session, we’ll briefly introduce the current concept of Advisors in PMM and how they work today. More importantly, we’ll open the discussion to the audience: how do you want monitoring tools to guide you? What kinds of recommendations are actually useful? What are the must-have capabilities for automated insights in database monitoring?
Together, we’ll explore real use cases, common pain points, and ideas for making advisors more valuable—from better recommendations and workflows to community-driven extensions. The goal is simple: use this session to shape the future direction of advisors in PMM and learn how practitioners expect observability tools to help them operate databases more effectively.
