Database Whisperer at scale. Aspiring to be more webscale every year.

Zander Hill is the architecture lead for the platform area of Plaid and has been professionally fighting databases for a number of years. He founded the online storage team at Plaid, built it from the ground up, and has mostly lived to tell the tale.

When not thinking about database proxies or how some web-scale memes have kernels of truth, he’s planning for the AI apocalypse.
