The many meanings of "responsible" - Using AI well in an Open Source world


It often looks like everyone loves AI. Everyone also seems worried about AI. Some will even be wondering if those two consecutive short sentences show that this text was written by AI. It wasn’t.
With so much discussion around AI going on, it’s easy to just focus on the issues around code, content and open source, or on the ethically complex areas where AI is being used to mediate human interaction with systems or organisations. Join us for a discussion bridging that gap. Looking at where developers and reviewers are using AI well; what it does to reviewers when they use it badly; the concerns raised when end users interact with the AI, not just code generated by it; and the business case for adoption.
