RTA in PMM: Real-Time Eyes for AI-Assisted Database Troubleshooting

When MongoDB slows down, DBAs need answers now: which query is running, which app sent it, and whether it is blocking others. Waiting for historical analytics is often too late.
In this session, we show how PMM Real-Time Analytics (RTA) gives a live view of MongoDB operations as they happen, updated every few seconds. Through a practical incident workflow, we demonstrate how to start an RTA session, identify slow operations, inspect key details like collection scans and lock contention, and decide what to do next.
We also discuss how this real-time operational context can become the foundation for AI-assisted troubleshooting: not replacing the DBA, but helping explain incidents faster and with better context.
